http://www.vancourier.com/sports/Mayor+Robertson+bungles+mean+spirited+protest/5679475/story.html

Now just who are these "mean-spirited, narrow-minded, self-righteous" people "utterly devoid of humility"?  Are they the occupy protesters around the world, including in Vancouver, rallying for an end to growing income inequality, or could it be the financial elite who brought the whole international system to its knees through speculation and fraud, rewarded themselves with egregious bonuses, and now prescribe austerity for the masses?

Your Olson cartoon says it best:  If Jesus kicked over the tables of the money changers today, Mark Hasiuk would likely condemn him for self-righteousness, and demand he be charged with creating a public disturbance.

Yesterday afternoon (Monday at 1.30)  the town that I live in ,in Alberta, had a power outage.

The situation wasn't rectified until late evening.   The whole town was a blackout..

I had no cookstove,no furnace,no microwave,no TV, no computer, no telephone.

Apparently something hit a very important power transformer.   As I was left with not too much to do,my mind went into automatic.

Thought the main stream media is right. The people of Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya ,(So far) must be overjoyed at having  us (helping )(We, The Noble Free world)   Bombing the crap out of them.

Yeh,power gone,water gone,along with all the things I mention above.   Lasting for day,weeks months,years .

Someday we will reap what we sow.    I hope so.     We are always quick to use the phase when we

are referring to others.   Would be a shame if it  turned out to be an old wives tale.

I understand perfectly well that, We, wouldn't deserve being punished for our crimes against other human beings

re; Paul Krugman's 'alien attack' mention, where he mentioned that perhaps the planet earth needs an alien invasion so that everyone would work together  against a common enemy.
Just perhaps, we are getting a sample of this alien attack.
But the aliens are, instead of extra-terrestrial, home grown.

The corporate world, at least it more nefarious members shares a number of features.
1. No citizenship, and hence cannot be charged with treason. (CHECK AGAIN)
2. Has the rights and privileges of humans, but not the responsibilities, unless mandated by government, and government is unlikely to take on such an adversary, who works collectively in an 'offense is the best defense' method, and can buy loyalty or complicity of politicians, judges, businessmen, citizens, etc.
3. Their ability to infiltrate government,  in a fifth column manoeuvre to change laws  and acts of parliament, so that they can have a part in Ruling the World, as in David Korten's book.
4. Not for nothing were laws passed, in much of the world, that forbid government from en-corporating, since government was meant to work for the peoples interests, while corporate, by their very nature, work for corporate goals and interest, their god being the bottom line and maximized profits. Their profit making abilities in war, aids, cancer, diabetes, etc., are definitely not in mankinds' interest.
5. Collectively, they need a leash, a Magna Carta, or great charter, if you will.

Every once in a while, we are handed a reminder of the dangers of handing the world over to corporate interests. Goldman-Sachs was one of those gifts from our guardian angels to show us the problems if we don't watch closely when our watchdogs or regulators can be rendered toothless and neutered, by such military  ploys as 5th column,  'muddy waters', Trojan Horse, 'someone else's problem', etc., while they work at wrecking the financial system.

The last time we  realized we had a problem in this regard, was 1928. Do you remember what happened next? 1929!!!!

     Stay awake.

Subject: Vocabulary review???

Joe:
Allegory =  a story whose
moral is re presented symbolically. (Oxford Dictionary of Current English, p. 20.)
===
I must be missing the meaning of Lorimer Rutty's  "allegoric symbolism"!!
For his information, I see NO nuances in "succinctness or pontificate."
Is "mimic the doldrums"  meant to be symbolic?
Are these foggy examples of how Lorimer gets across his thoughts?
Is it any wonder he promotes brevity?  One wonders who needs a vocabulary review?
If Lorimer wants to communicate clearly, he does need to write so that his reader(s) could understand clearly.
I wonder if  Lorimer can punctuate correctly the following such that it makes logical sense?:

that that is is that that is not is not is that not it it is

Joe
This is a great day for a 'vocabulary' review.
To Ms Gingrich and to Mr Harewood; spend some time mulling over 'allegory.'
To Natroses, it's time to delve into the nuances of 'succinctness,' and of 'pontificate.'
Confucius is thought to have said that those who are long winded soon mimic the doldrums.

Subject: Has it come to this!?!? Fw: Ottawa to study veterans' health after hunger strike

Has it come to this!?!?

It would appear that Veteran Pascal Lacoste's issue(s) and the myriad of other treatment issues that were honourably presented by the former Ombudsman the Honourable Pat Stogran and also that of the Most-Distinguished John Labelle regarding the claw-back of Veterans' Pensions at age 65 have resulted in Veterans having to go on Hunger-Strikes to get help.

That is all Veterans are asking for in regards to their detrimental injuries as a result of serving their nation. Appropriate medical treatment, equitable Quality-of-Life Disability Pensions and the cessation of "claw-back" of their paid for pensions so that the non-claw-back equality applies to them.

Pascal, may you be well and receive the help you need.
Peace be with you,
Dave

Subject: Re: chemtrails

The agencies/ people behind chemtrails are totally insane. How can you "modify" weather without unpredictable consequences elsewhere or down the road?

The weather is getting more and more erratic and bizzar, in case no one noticed....

I must confess I don't know what the purpose(s) of chemtrail(s) are all about: are they trying to undo the concentrations of CO2 in the atmosphere? Or is it more?

Chemtrails and Weather Derivatives
The Intel Hub
By Peter Kirby
November 7, 2011
In his paper ' Why in the World Are They Spraying?', journalist Michael Murphy floats the idea that chemtrails are sprayed in order to manipulate the weather derivatives market. He posted the story right here on TheIntelHub.com on Oct. 11, 2011.  It ran alongside my article ' Chemtrails Exposed'.
He may not be too far off the mark as my humble investigation leads me to many questionable situations, strange bedfellows and none other than those legends of corruption and waste, Enron. The thoroughly disgraced and vilified corporation was one of the founders of the market.
Would you put it past Enron?
Overview:
Weather derivatives are financial instruments (options, futures and options on futures) everyone can buy that either pay off or don't pay off according to recorded atmospheric conditions such as temperature and rainfall. . . . http://theintelhub.com/2011/11/07/chemtrails-and-weather-derivatives/

Ultra-filtering Removes Pollen, Hides Honey Origins

More than three-fourths of the honey sold in U.S. grocery stores isn't exactly what the bees produce, according to testing done exclusively for Food Safety News.

The results show that the pollen frequently has been filtered out of products labeled "honey."
The removal of these microscopic particles from deep within a flower would make the nectar flunk the quality standards set by most of the world's food safety agencies.

Subject: Cuban Medics in Haiti put the world to shame.   DD

We are going to have to stop Cuba from offering medical assistance to others.  In the USI/Canada we know that humanitarian aid means bombing the life out of citizens, not providing healthcare?   How can Cuba be allowed to take the care of patients and their welfare over the demands of the pharmaceutical companies to make money?  We can only dream of having a doctor for every 200 patients--and they supply this health care while under boycotts by the USI
Thanks for this Ray--but people will still believe the lies--I met a man here who goes to Cuba to give them aid.  Yes, Cuba does not have all the amenities but who would after the USI has done everything in their power to destroy the country?  What an example to the world Cuba has become.  And we do nothing but bad mouth them.

Twas the month before Christmas (Author unknown)

November 8, 2011
christmastree.jpg

Twas the month before Christmas
When all through our land,
Not a Christian was praying
Nor taking a stand.
See the PC Police had taken away
The reason for Christmas - no one could say.
The children were told by their schools not to sing
About Shepherds and Wise Men and Angels and things.
It might hurt people's feelings, the teachers would say
December 25th is just a ' Holiday '.
Yet the shoppers were ready with cash, checks and credit
Pushing folks down to the floor just to get it!
CDs from Madonna, an X BOX, an I-Pod
Something was changing, something quite odd!
Retailers promoted Ramadan and Kwanzaa
In hopes to sell books by Franken & Fonda.
As Targets were hanging their trees upside down
At Lowe's the word Christmas - was no where to be found.
At K-Mart and Staples and Penny's and Sears
You won't hear the word Christmas; it won't touch your ears.
Inclusive, sensitive, Di-ver-si-ty
Are words that were used to intimidate me.
Now Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen
On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton !
At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter
To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter.
And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith
Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace
The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded
The reason for the season, stopped before it started.
So as you celebrate 'Winter Break' under your 'Dream Tree'
Sipping your Starbucks, listen to me.
Choose your words carefully, choose what you say
Shout MERRY CHRISTMAS ,
not Happy Holiday !
Please, all Christians join together and
wish everyone you meet
-----
Makow comment: "I urge you to boycott all stores that refer to Christmas as "the Holidays."
The Illuminati want to erase all memory of the Birth of Christ, who represents the greatest obstacle to their Luciferian rule. Let them pay the price!
