A positive as we approach Remembrance Day

As we approach Remembrance Day a step forward for those who served and survived was taken today.

Veteran Affairs Minister Blaney agreed to investigate the contention of veterans that illnesses they have are the result of coming into contact with depleted uranium while serving overseas.

That you are receiving this post would have been in the realm of science fiction only a few years ago. Advances have been made which can determine the degree and the nature of radioactivity in our veterans. And advances as well in removing the toxins from their bodies.

"It's a committee that will have a broad mandate,", Minister Blaney has promised.  Expectation is  the Committee will investigate each and every means of determining which view is correct: that of the Veterans Affairs Department "it's unlikely any Canadian troops were contaminated by the substance.", or that of Pascal Lacoste and other veterans that they continue to be affected by depleted uranium particles entering their bodies and negatively affecting them.

Both Pascal Lacoste and Minister Blaney are to be commended.  Pascal for putting his life on the line.  The Minister for undertaking to investigate every means of determining the root cause of the suffering of our veterans.

Subject: French

Dear Joe,

With respect to French, Canadians are divided into two groups. Those who know this delightful language, whose lives
are enriched every day by their knowledge, and those who are too stupid or too lazy to learn it. It seems that some of
your recent correspondents have the misfortune to belong to this second set.

Joe
This is a great day for a 'vocabulary' review.
To Ms Gingrich and to Mr Harewood; spend some time mulling over 'allegory.'
To Natroses, it's time to delve into the nuances of 'succinctness,' and of 'pontificate.'
Confucius is thought to have said that those who are long winded soon mimic the doldrums.

Subject: Stonewalling by Speaker keeps all Canadians in the dark.

Hello, Joe,

November 8, 2011

Follow up letter to the Speaker of the House of Commons to unanswered letter of June 3, 2011.

As Canadian Officials continue to fail to comply with treaty commitments and with legitimate rulings of international tribunals perhaps we should simply withdraw voluntarily from our international treaties and covenants and stop the hypocrisy.
Below is another unanswered request for assistance. Such contempt for Canadians and for the Rule of Law simply empowers (sets precedents) unacceptable and contemptuous conduct with immunity. Is this what Canadians are prepared to tolerate? Is this what our Veterans fought for?
  Thanks for your consideration.

One Humanity: Revulsion against Man's Cruelty
http://www.opinion-maker.org/2011/11/one-humanity-revulsion-against-mans-cruelty/

The unfolding global political events under the egomaniac and sadistic Western leadership  moving the world to sadistic and unpredictably frightening warmongering acts of cruelty- killing of the fellow human beings by the same as if reason and rationality had no place in human thinking and behaviors.  The UN claims world population staggering to 7 billions – a challenge to economic sustainability (if the humanity is viewed just in economic terms – economic man, economic woman and economic child) and the NASA shows pictures of the planet earth being on fire, fast becoming nonproductive because of man's perpetuated ignorance and overt intransigence against the Nature of things. The Europeans must have learned that wars no longer provide any solutions except more wars and more killings of the self.
